Optimum Badminton Academy
You always remember your first: For aigentic, that was Optimum Badminton Academy (OBA), our first client. The engagement taught me how much engineering sits behind a seemingly simple request to automate admin work.
OBA conducts more than 150 training sessions each week across Singapore. Our deployments now support scheduling, attendance reporting, and new-member onboarding.
| Job type | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Scheduling | Staff updated classes manually and checked the schedule by eye. The CRM permitted coach and court double-bookings. | Staff email the desired schedule. The pipeline checks booking conflicts and business rules before applying updates. |
| Attendance | Attendance totals were counted manually. | The previous day’s figures sync to Google Drive, helping staff identify zero-attendance classes for closure review. |
| New-member onboarding | Staff detected sign-ups, remembered the required steps, and tracked progress through Google Sheets and memory. | The workflow tracks progress and handles routine steps, pausing where an operator needs to review, resolve, or verify something. |
Our work continues after deployment. We run these systems, investigate failures, fix bugs, and maintain them as OBA’s day-to-day needs evolve.
The stories below follow the engineering decisions behind that work:
- First deployment: Where Bijections, Graphs, and Badminton Hang Out — matching schedules, detecting clashes, and keeping related changes together.
- Hoop: Human in the Loop — building onboarding around the moments that require an operator’s judgement.
